A relaxing stay in country, but close to the village, where to spend pleasant days in the cool of the hills. From there you can easily do some trekking onto Madonie mountains or to the Sicilian hinterland or to the seaside.
The Bed & Breakfast “Pontesecco” allows guests to live far from the traffic and from noises, and still only a few hundred yards from the historic centre of Castelbuono. Pontesecco actually lies on the south of Castelbuono, towards the mountains, at the foot of a beautyful municipal wood.
It is composed of two lodges and of two rooms with private toilets, all of them have got an independent entrances, close to an ancient stone–built villa, all harmonically placed in the open fields. In wintertime all lodges and rooms are confortably heated.

The bigger lodge is composed of two rooms of different size, and a large living room with kitchen facilities; moreover it has got a bathroom with shower, and a veranda. The lodge can be rented only to a single client, a person, a couple, a family, or a group willing to use it together.
The second one is componed of one room and a large living room with kitchen facilities; moreover it has got a bathroom with shower. It can host four people using the living room. Like the former one can be rented only to a single client, a person, a couple, a family, or a group willing to use it together.
The two rooms have independent entrance and bathroom with shower each.
It is possible to add one or two small beds for children.
The service includes overnight stay, breakfast and soft cleaning daily, sheet and towel changing and deeper cleaning weekly; water, lightning and heating, parking, use of outside spaces, laundry and drying services.
Nice activities can be organised such as guided tour of Natural Park of Madonie, or to local agricultural enterprises or Manna growing operators.
Some nice sea beaches are about 10 miles from Bed&Breakfast and can be reached by car through the national road.
Pontesecco is located within the municipality of Castelbuono in the Province of Palermo. You can reach Castelbuono from the Palermo–Messina motorway, exit “Castelbuono” following the S.S. 286 (National Road 286) for about 12 kilometres (about 8 miles) and so reaching the village.
On Messina–Palermo line you shall stop at “Cefalù” station from where you may get a couch running various times a day towards Castelbuono. From there you may get a shuttle to Pontesecco square, about 150 yards from B & B.
In addition to those to Cefalù, there are other through connections to Palermo.

From the roundabout of Piazza Pontesecco, it is sufficient to cover hundred metres of the afphalt road (the only one) to meet the first entrance (East) or 180 m for the second (West).
